​Hello!  I'm Lucy, an illustrator, children's book author and primary school teacher. I live in Bristol with my partner, daughter and a cat called Pebble.

Since graduating with an MA in children’s book illustration from Cambridge School of Art, I have worked on a range of projects, from writing and illustrating picture books such as Ballet Bunnies, Just Like Mummy, Just Like Daddy, The Big Stink and The Greatest Showpenguin to designing soft toys and board books for Jellycat.
 
Before becoming a teacher, I juggled various jobs alongside making books - such as a craft assistant, an event stylist, a cake artist (yum!), a nursery assistant, a teaching assistant and a shop gal at a lovely independent shop. 

Clients include: CBeebies, Egmont UK, Dean, Farshore, House of Illustration, Jellycat Ltd, Oxford University Press and Pavilion Children's Books.
